Another photo from my 43rd bday party (Dec. 2004). This one has a better view of fliers from the shows my production company put on (yeah, that’s Fugazi and to the right D.O.A., NOFX warmed up that show). The guy with the hat is Sid, from Misery, and next to him is Cricket. I invited a bunch of my Teamster co-workers to the party. The woman on the far left and her husband (even a “few” years older than me) took the time to learn about vegan cooking and brought some tofu chili to the potluck. It was the hit of the party. Crusty punks and Teamsters are a better fit than you might think. My co-workers are still talking about this party in glorius terms 8 years later.
