I am sad…
I went to a memorial for an old friend (early 1980’s) that overdosed last week. I have started and deleted about 30 posts trying to describe today’s event. Shawn Pike was an artistic genius that was dogged by the downside of his art. MInneapolis is still the center of the heroin trade in the U.S which is no different from the old days. There were people from every ’80s to 2000’s cliques that paid tribute. Minneapolis is a much smaller space without Shawn.
